Peace Activist

The BergerMan traveled to Rwanda, Africa to work with friends at the Ubumwe Community Center in Gisenyi that survived the 1994 Genocide. This was an amazing journey and life altering experience in several ways.

Before leaving the capital city of Kigali for the shore of Lake Kivu, there was a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.

This is truly an amazing place.

  • The sensitivity is remarkable
  • The educational aspects are life changing
  • The focus on Reconciliation is unbelievable

It was at the KGM that The BergerMan first met a member of the Aegis Trust team. Upon his return to the United States he has begun a partnership with them and others with the goal of extending Aegis' successes in Africa to other parts of the world.
